I am the owner of Bess. And I thank all those who have helped with suggestions to make this bistro a place that satisfies those who take time out of their busy schedules to spend some time with us. Our goal is high quality comfort food, a terrific staff that dotes on our customers, and an atmosphere that is private to all those who spend time here. We have only been open a few weeks and we are working daily to improve. We thank all those who have been patient and have returned time and time again... I am overwhelmed by the response. With all the fantastic restaurants here in Austin I know we have a lot to live up to and intend to make every effort to do so.\r
