Review content:
Lots of tire and wheel places around Charlotte. So lots of big chains to take your money and leave you hanging! This place is a family run business in Concord NC that has been in business 40 years. The only way you stay around that long is by treating people right and knowing your business. At Punchy Whitake's they treat you like you are the only one they have to wait on. They know the wheels and tires that work for your car.
Could I have saved a couple of hundred by buying off the Web and finding a shop to handle them? Yes. But I have no regrets whatsoever. They treated us fairly and did and amazing job setting up the wheels on the car. My wife drives the car everyday and continually gets comments on how awesome the wheels are.
The technician we worked with at Punchy's was patient and informed us of what works and what doesn't. He called around to see what wheels he could get and made several recommendations once he knew our tastes. No pressure. No hassle. Just great customer service.
I will only buy from Punchy Whitakers from now on even though it is an hour from our Charlotte home.
