My son and I joined Mattevi Martial Arts Academy in 2000 and we both went on to achieve black belt status. The atmosphere was always that of sincere respect, friendship, caring, and discipline. Not many mother are required to call their 10 yr old sons ""sir."" It was a great place for anyone to learn from competitive athletes to those new to physical activity. It was a safe environment that provided opportunities for all levels. The value of family and friends was always evident at the school. I miss the Mattevi's and wish them the very best in NC.
