When it came to getting the allergen test with the small needles, I didn't do well at all. I'm a bit of a wimp when it comes to needles - my skin is super-duper sensitive. They typically do the test on both of your arms with 90 different allergens that they stick you with (45 on each arm). I started to get faint (mainly from fear of needles and pain), but that's not unusual for me. These guys at Metropolitan Specialty labs were so kind and understanding. I was only able to get through half of the allergen needle tests. They decided that the next best thing for me is to just have my blood taken which only checks for like 24 allergens versus all 90. That was perfectly fine with me, given my needle aversion! I highly recommend Metropolitan Specialty labs for your allergy needs.
