Review content:
I've had several limited-edition prints framed at this store, and the staff has always been very helpful and creative in helping me choose a frame and matting design that compliments the picture. In the past I always went to Michael's for framing because they constantly advertise those 50% off specials, but when comparing the same frame and mats at the two stores I realized that Deck the Walls was less expensive. The quality of the framing was excellent - whereas at Michael's I sometimes had to take something back to have a problem fixed, the people who do the framing at Deck the Walls have always done an excellent job.
The store also sells both limited and open edition prints, though for just a simple poster you'll probably get a better price at Michaels. There are also a variety of framed pictures available for purchase, which seem to be a little expensive to me, but you can negotiate a little with the staff. I once was given 25% off of one piece simply because I asked.
Everyone I've met there has been friendly and helpful, and there doesn't seem to be a lot of turnover, which I take to be a good sign. The people who work there genuinely seem to enjoy their jobs, which is a huge contrast to most of the other stores in Lakeforest Mall.
Especially if you need to have something framed I'd recommend this store - get a quote from Michaels and then take it by Deck the Walls and see what they'll give you. The turnaround time is faster, too - Michaels always takes two weeks, but Deck the Walls has sometimes had my picture ready in a couple of days, which is great when you're putting together an almost-last-minute gift.
