Review content:
Been a Black Bear Diner fan since they came on the scene in Walnut Creek, CA. You could imagine how delighted I was when I found out they set up shop in Downtown Oakley after moving back!\r
\r
Black Bear Diner can be described by many who know and love the family-owned chain as a friendly place with gut-busting portions at a reasonable price. They make sure you never leave hungry because like a Bear you don't want to encounter a disappointed and hungry human! Aside from the food, the friendliness and smiles from the staff can make any grumpy bear into a cute and cuddly cub.\r
\r
My personal favorites range from their omelets to their Bob's Big Bear Burger (seriously, you need a knife to cut it into portions that will fit your mouth!!). Add in some of their scrumptious sides and you have a meal that will have you rolling out of there in a wheelbarrow!
Pros: Portions, Atmosphere, Staff, Food
