AS I SIT HERE ON A SUNDAY MORNING WATCHING KENNY WAYNE SHEPARDS DVD, 10 DAYS OUT I GET SO EXCITED ABOUT WHO WILL BE IN SALINA AT BLUE HEAVEN STUDIO IN OCTOBER. I HAVE LOVED THE BLUES FOR CLOSE TO 40 YEARS BUT NEVER KNEW WHAT BLUES REALLY WERE ABOUT UNTIL MY DAUGHTER MICHELLE TOOK ME TO MY FIRST CONCERT IN 2004 IN SALINA. THIS JANUARY SHE TOOK ME TO SEE B B KING. I CRIED FROM THE MINUTE HE WALKED ON STAGE AND THROUGH HIS FIRST 3 SONGS. I HAD WAITED SO MANY YEARS TO SEE HIM. I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR BLUE HEAVEN STUDIO AND MY DAUGHTER FOR GIVING ME THE GIFT OF LISTENING AND MEETING SO MANY WONDERFUL MUSICIANS. THE BLUES IS SO HEALING. I HAVE SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT BLUE HEAVEN STUDIO SINCE 2004 BUT PEOPLE ARE WAITING TOO LONG, WE'RE LOSING A LOT OF THE REAL BLUES ARTIST. IF YOU HAVE THE CHANCE TO PURCHASE THE DVD, 10 DAYS OUT, IT WILL GET YOU SOOOO FIRED UP. I HOPE TO SEE MORE PEOPLE AT THE CROSSROADS THIS YEAR.
