Review content:
I attended Anita's Dance Center for 13 years. I completely agree with the other negative review. Teachers are often young, high school girls (I was one). After getting into the real world of dance, you realize the style and technique of the this studio is very behind the times. More importantly, Anita and Julie (her sister) are known for favoritism and not being fair or actually focusing on talent. It is very much a studio that is based who the owners decide to like. Talent or dedication has nothing to do with how you are treated. If your life (parents or students) is not 100% dedicated to being at the studio at the drop of a dime, you will be singled out and basically treated horribly until you will want to leave. I have also heard (from people who have worked at the desk) about some questionalbe things going on with payments and basically, in a word, ""stealing"". I would never give a bad review just to be spiteful or mean, but I would hate for some kid or family to have to go through the depression and anguish that place put me through.
Pros: Dance is a great sport for kids
Cons: Ownership, teaching, skills, behavior of employees, lack of respect, expensive
