I would never recommend Southern Dental to anyone. I was a long time patient of Southern Dental years ago while living in Lexington SC. I moved back from Charleston 8 months ago my first visit back I had a cleaning during the dental exam a lady from the front office told me the insurance company wanted to speak with me. The dentist jumped up and said ""maybe you dont' have insurance"" I laughed and went to the phone to find out the insurance company needed my permission to access my info to the office!!! How unprofessional on so many levels. several visits later I had a tooth extracted and needed a bridge, I missed one appointment due to work and also them requiring 1,695.00 (my part) for the bridge I called was honest and attempted to make another appointment. I recieved a call back from the front desk to say I needed to find another dentist!!! What service seems like a high tempered staff to me! I found another dentist and would like to thank them now for dumping me!!!! Don't go there!!
