Review content:
We accepted a bid the end of January 2009 for a project that we were told by Heavenly Lane Construction would take two to three weeks at the most. The project was to make our kitchen and bathroom ADA accessible which would consist of building a pantry in the kitchen, installing new cabinets, countertops, & tile. The bathroom project was to install a new bathtub, new tile, & install handicap grab bars. It is now the middle of June 2009. We have had FOUR sub-contractors here and the work is still NOT completed. The first crew was fired after three days because of personal behavior problems, the second crew installed floor tile on the walls, ruined one bag of grout and walked off with the second bag, broke the bathroom window, broke some home furnishings, would show up some days at two or three in the afternoon...somedays we heard noting from them, eventually they were fired, the third crew never showed up at all, now the fourth crew has been here since April 2009. Some days they show up , some days they don't. As we write this review, we have been calling the sub contractor since last Wednesday (6 days ago) with no response from him. Heavenly Lane tells us that the sub contractor is having personal problems but will be here ""today."" Today never happens. My mother-in-law passed away on April 26, 2009 and our bathroom for our guests had no tile, no vanity or sink...only a toilet. Heavenly Lane has a letter from my doctor stating a ""medical need"" for the projects, as I am disabled. That letter was written to them several months ago. So five months later and six thousand dollars ""LOST"", we are still without the projects we've paid for. The company, Service Majic which advertise for Heavenly Lane Construction has since dropped them from their services and according to Service Majic, are no longer sending referrals to them for work projects. We've heard every story, every excuse...there is nothing else to say other than...be very, very careful if you even consider this company. Heavenly Lane, nor the sub contractors have NEVER been here while any work was being done...they DO NOT supervise their workers. Heavenly Lane was last in our home in April after I had surgery and only then because I needed my bath tub and couldn't use it and we called and insisted that they come and see ALL of the problems. Again, the work has not been supervised by ANYONE ! We are presently pursuing legal action and we are also reporting this to the Attorney General's Office. Cons: unreliable
