Review content:
We happened upon Mabel's on a rainy evening in Kennebunkport. We were hungry for some down-home seafood and Mabel's delivered. Entrees include a simple salad doused in delicious dill dressing and a side order. The surf and turf included a teriaki chicken breast and 2 large shrimp scampi in garlic butter - wonderful and large. My husband had the seafood bake. He didn't look up from his meal except to tell me how good his food was. Deserts all looked sinful, we opted for the chocolate fudge cake a la mode with hot fudge - rich! Our waiter, Jeff, was friendly and relaxed. He let us nkow that Mabel's caters to former President Bush who summers in the area. Pros: food, service, portions
