TLC Moving Company should be the benchmark for all moving companies in NYC. From day one and continuing throughout the process to the final move day, TLC not only met but exceeded their mark in the areas of their trade, speed, professionalism, communication and pro-activity (just to name a few). To top it all off, they were friendly and repeatedly went above and beyond, at times even dealing with multiple rounds of phone tag (I am not the easiest person to track down).. Their persistence showed me that they were passionate about what they do, and committed to the happiness of their client. We were very lucky to have such a hardworking, professional team carry out this very important move for us. They truly are the perfect mix of brains and brauns.
I found TLC and a handful of other NYC moving companies through a simple google search. Through a weeding out process based on the â??best bang for our buckâ?? metric, I decided that TLC was #1 in terms of quality of service and affordability. It wasnâ??t until after I got off the phone with Michael John, Senior Project Coordinator of TLC Moving, that I knew for certain that TLC was 100% the right mover for us. Michael was attentive to every last detail of the move; he worked with us on pricing and even coordinated to have boxes delivered to the apartment for the move. In the beginning of the process we also changed the move-date on Mike a couple times. But every time he was very understanding and accommodated our wishes. I am sure he worked a couple of miracles behind the scenes that we never knew about. He also helped coordinate the move with the two building co-ops, who are notorious for their short moving-window hours and strict rules; which went absolutely seamlessly. On the back end, after moving day, he also worked with us to be sure that all of our needs were met, which I thought was a fabulous touch. I assured him that they were and that we would absolutely be using TLC for our next move.
When moving day was upon us, the movers showed up right on time and got to work immediately, following all instructions set forth by the co-op moving rules. They worked hard, and were very meticulous and polite with every item, big and small. If they had questions, they asked, and then got right back to work. It was a big move, and it took the whole day- but they worked seamlessly and by the looks of it, although I am no expert, they used every minute as efficiently as they could- I know I couldnâ??t have asked for a better outcome.
Moving in NYC is a challenge, period- but TLC took away so much of the anxiety involved, which made my moving day a day that I could actually enjoy. The next time, I will actually look forward to my next move. Thank you so much TLC!
