I've taken a wide range of small and large items to the Restoration Shop: \r
turn-of-the-century iron alloy lion book-ends\r
wooden crucifix from Italy\r
duck decoy from the East Coast\r
bird's-eye maple dresser drawer and sleigh bedstead\r
Every one was repaired impeccably within reasonable time and for a reasonable price.\r
My only disappointment was that they gently advised me that my set of 19th-century Texas caned maple chairs were not worth the cost they would charge me to repair, and that I might do better selling them as is to a hobbyist.\r
I now have a long list of furniture pieces I'd like them to refurbish for my new office.
Pros: Honest, timely, completely satisfying results.
