My wife wanted to upgrade the diamond on her 36-year-old engagement ring. We picked Diamonds Chicago off the web, made an appointment for two days later and had a pleasant shopping and buying experience. Our salesperson, Fahmina, was very knowledgable, patient and helpful. She was able to understand and match my wife's preferences. We ended up buying the larger diamond and got what we think was a fair price plus a fair tradein on the old diamand and some other gold. The upgrade of the engagement ring was performed during the same visit, and the only disappointment was that it took about an hour and a half rather than the indicated 40 minutes. after we agreed to the sale
