Review content:
On the corner of Lomas Santa Fe, and Cedros, lies Siena Julia, a warm, inviting, and glittering jewel of a store. Offering a collection of exquisite decorative objects and fashion jewelry, Siena Julia displays beautiful collections by Swarovski, Jay Strongwater, Daum, Michael Aram, LALIQUE, Faberge, and many other independent artists and designers. The handmade objects come from artisans in Europe, Canada, and the USA. Although the store glints and gleams with crystals and diamonds, there is something for everyone, from $2 wooden rings, to country french inspired drinking cabinets and benches. The aim of Siena Julia is to combine both beauty and function into each piece. Offering both decadence as well as practicality. One of my favorite objects in the store was a set of rectangular vases with Gustav Klimt paintings painted onto the glass. The Klimt colors and paintings worked so beautifully on the transparency of the glass, heightening both the flowers within the vase, as well as any room. This eye for form, beauty, and function in all the unique objects in the store will definitely keep me coming back for more to feast my eyes upon!
