my brother & his new wife went to this company to see what they had. my brother inquired about two properties's to view. they told him he could see them at the end of the month but he could start the application process. he was called by the affordable property's in union city today to tell him he was approved for the cotton property in newark that he had never seem and it would be a $2000 deposit and he could move in on the 1st or the 15th.
this was incredibility ridiculous an odd given the fact he filed out for more than one properly that he was waiting to view.
the manage told him that my brother that the woman who picked up the applications was told it was site on seen (what is this?) sign a lease to a property you have never seen? this too was odd since my brother was the one who got the applications on the day he & wife was viewing a different property in hayward. the other two properties' are on the application!!!
so they when into the office thinking they must have mixed him up with someone-else cause how would they know which one he wanted if he had two different properties in two different city's on the application.
one good thing is she did not turn her application in yet they only had his praise god!
at the office they went in to see the manager and the manager accused my sister in-law of being told it was site on seen and that he would not talk to her. she requested all the paper work provided and pick it up off the desk. the manger than grab her and snatched their information out of her hand. he than to told to get out of the office while he had his office copy their tax returns & other information that they no longer wish them to be entitle to. this is all on camera and legal action is being sought. i just could not believe this is what happened!
my brother is white his new wife if black go fugue they would be treated in this manner in 2011. sad but true!!!
do not use this company we will be letting everyone know what happened and to boycott this company!!!!
