I have never seen a doctor that wants to rip a patient off so much! \r \r This was my 1st time seeing this doc and definitely the last time. I found her from my insurance network, and made an appointment for routine exam. Went in today and made sure again with the nurse that they are in-network, and I needed to do exam which my insurance covers. The doctor casually looked at my teeth, and talked with me very briefly, and she just sent me out the door and charged me for an outrageous CONSULTATION FEE. No chance during the appointment she mentioned instead of exam, she was doing a ""CONSULTATION."" They requested me to pay immediately for the service I did not agree with and said as a ""COURTESY"", they will file to my insurance company, and reimburse if a ""CONSULTATION"" in covered. I tried to argue I came in only for an exam which I am sure is covered not a ""CONSULTATION"" that may not be covered, but the nurse just shut me off and said this is the way it is.\r \r Crazy, isn't it? Stay away!
