Review content:
I am shocked to be the first writing a review on this establishment, especially after seeing them spotlighted on Diner, Drive-ins, and Dives. We had visited Neely's and Cozy Corner and by the time we made it to Tom's we were praying for a miracle to save our tastebuds from the pergatory of so-so barbecue. Well TOM's is the BOMB! First we noticed while on Getwell at the innersection to the restuarant we could smell the smoked meats before making the turn 70yds away to the restaraunt. Second of all prior to coming we were shocked at the prices on the website that they were SO CHEAP, well thanks to certain economic conditions the prices had gone up but litterally cents and you got your monies worth. Thirdly the taste and portions of food were enough to border gluttonious indulging.\r

If you are a que-ologist, I am telling you TOM's is worth your time, tastebuds and money. SO FAR FOR ME...TOM's HAS THE BEST QUE in Memphis! And we tried 5 barbeuce restaraunts in 28hrs. They serve a different cut of rib tip that was good with or without sauce. I personally like dry rubs better to see the culinary skill of the seasoner, because otherwise you just suckin down meat soaked sauce. That takes very little if any skill at all to pour sauce over half or under seasoned meat. \r

Remember before there was sauce, there was meat and seasonings (herbs), and we owe it God to enjoy what He has provided before we start pouring sticky all over it and drowning out the best part....the flavor.
Pros: Great Food, Great price, Great service and an abundance of them all.
Cons: Small, but quainte....not the ideal place for a group larger than 20.
