Review content:
I was informed the home was flawless after doing a walk through with the licensee agent. Then two months later I received my deposit attached to a list charges that amounted to $963.22. I was charged ridiculous amounts such as $150 for wiping the inside of the kitchen cabinets and $35 for removing 3 bathroom stickers. Nebraska Stat. ?76-1419 requires that the security deposit be returned to a tenant within 14 days after the termination of the occupancy. If the repairs cannot be accomplished within the 14 days, then the landlord must be careful to obtain accurate estimates of the repairs from reliable contractors and only withhold a reasonable sum to make the repairs. I contacted Multi vest numerous times requesting copies of the invoices for the repairs from reliable contractors but was not successful. Looks like someone is not following the Nebraska law ? I was then promised a check for @$250 and adviced to contact the property owners. Well, I contacted the property owners and I am still waiting for the check. Please be careful. The company is very unprofessional and they do not stand behind their word.
