I had used these guys several times for a in town move but I have just recently used then for an out of town move. The price he quoted was not the price I was charged. His guys overcharged me by 2 hours for going to get a truck and then charged me for tape and shrink wrap without informing us that we would be charged for this then found out that they told Buck we didn't pay for the tape. I even went and bought shrink wrap and tape for them to use. His guys were trying to rip him off. They loaded 2 27 ft. Penske Trucks and charged me $571 including a $15 fuel charge when it was our trucks being used. Then even after all that I used them again to load another truck a week later, big mistake the same guys from the week before started loading the truck after 1 hour only 4 items were loaded and this crew had to leave to go to another move in Ark. another crew showed up to finish the load but only 2 1/2 hours into the total load Buck called his guys and said to collect for the first 2 & 1/2 hours which I had never had to do before so I figured he was going to pull his guys off this move and leave us in a bind. Sure enough they collected for the first 2 1/2 hours and then also charged me a fuel charge of $15 which I have never been able to understand since they were not using their trucks These were Penske Trucks and I was responsible for the fuel to Penske. They charged me $215 for the first 2 1/2 hours. His guys broke a $50 porceline doll and then tried to say they didn't break it. They backed up and knocked over a stand that landed on the dolls face. They didn't complete the loading on the first truck and his guys told me that he wanted them to leave after they collected the $215 but his guys told us that they wouldn't leave until they loaded at least the first truck but they wouldn't load the 2nd truck but they didn't load it properly and they charged me a total of $425 for only one truck when the week before it cost $571 to load 2 27ft. trucks. They were to have loaded 2 27ft. Penske trucks that we rented from him on a one way move. They didn't load the first truck properly and caused the glass for some end table (they wrapped the glass) to break and they took a tool box and turned it sideways and had the tools falling out everywhere.\r
This move was to have been drive to Memphis on Wed night, pick up trucks and Load trucks Thursday and Drive back on Friday and Unload and trun in trucks by Saturday. Thanks to them we had to get another hotel room and hire other people to load the second truck on Friday and Was unable to get the offloaders we had already prearrangede the move that should have only taken 3 days turned into 5 days. \r
I had recommended them before to a lot of people but I would never use them again I did get a little tickled after they had pulled the guys off the load I called Penske and managed to get the trucks for a couple of extra days since he represented Penske and was trying to rip me off. After we had left for the day then they called and wanted to send another group of guys to finish the load but I declined any further help from Buck Almost Anything Moving in Memphis.
