Businiess name:  Fab's Corner Cucina

Review content:
After waiting for years for Fab's to reopen, my wife and I booked a table to celebrate our anniversary. When we arrived, the hostess tried to seat us at a table at the bar even though the place was practically empty. The owner had assured us that the kitchen would continue to prepare all of our favorites, but, when we asked for one of our favorites, the server told us ""no,"" then brought an inedible version of the dish anyway. Service was so slow that the meal took over two hours to complete.\r \r The old Fab's was a family-friendly place with paper on the tables and an accessible menu. The new incarnation has gone upscale, but, in part because its food has not changed, comes off as pretentious and sort of fake. I really lament the restaurant's change in tone and attitude.\r Pros: Family friendly dishes in an inefficient, not-so-family-friendly Bistro atmosphere Cons: Pretentious redesign does not accommodate former clientele; service stinks
