Review content:
We usually try to get up to Splendido once or twice when we're in Vail and this last dinner was beautiful. The seafood plater was awe inspiring. I had the Dover Sole which was delicious. My only complaint with Splendido is the prices. It's like they gouge you on purpose. As I said, we usually only go once or twice a year just because of the cost. They're prices are so far and above everyone else (except maybe Spago) that I walk away from a great dinner feeling a little cheated. If you have the money to spend - try this restaurant at least once - then make repeated reservations at Sweet Basil or Vista during your stay. They will not dissapoint.
