I found Dr. Chen after looking online for recommendations... in the past I have always left the vet's office as though I left a used car lot.. they always try to sell you on everything! My search for the perfect vet has been very frustrating to say the least. \r

Then I found Dr. Chen. \r
\r
Our first experience with him was when we had to bring our elderly cat in for dental work. He was honest and completely up front with everything (even on the risk of an elderly cat going in for surgery). He brought up the cost for the procedure while still in the room with us, I did not have to ask what they would be, or wait for a printout... very honest and upfront! I liked the fact that he also spoke to my daughter like she was an adult rather than 16 (this was her cat that she has had since she was 4 years old)... actually, I think she appreciated it a lot more than I. On our second visit , with another cat, he (and his staff) showed just as much compassion and concern. \r

Since we own a few dogs as well I am sure that we will see Dr. Chen many more times in the future (but not too soon I hope!) - - I cannot say enough how happy I have been with his clinic - he has won us over and is now our ""official vet."" Even the staff has been amazing!! Great job to everyone at Pride Animal Hospital!
