Review content:
My experience at Eastern Shore was not that good. While the technical staff overall tried to do a good job, the management was very poor in several aspects. Management would give you a quote and the invoice would many times exceed the quote. When asked about the quote vs. actual bill, the response would be, "" I will look in to it"". Next thing you know you get another bill with an additional finance charge while waiting on their response. You call again and get another I will look in to it. Eventually you get no returned calls. They never corrected a bill even when they were at fault. As stated in someones earlier review (Boat Abuse), the billing needs to be looked at closely. I got a second bill many times after an invoice had been paid. Management is only worried about the money not your boating experience. I had my boat hauled out for some hull work and noted to them that the engine would not start . They charged me $75 to $100 dollars for trying to start the engine and another 50 dollars towing it a few yards to the lift. The fiberglass work and paint job seemed to be good. If you had many questions about the work, management was usually unresponsive. They treat transients much better than the people leasing slips.
