As soon as I walked into Sahara, I was immediately relaxed by it's overall calming environment. I appreciated the cozy and quiet feel of the establishment since most restaurants can be loud and overwhelming. Everything was really clean and it the decorating was very fun to look at while I enjoyed my amazing meal.
I ordered a lamb gyro, mango juice, and baklava for dessert. The entire meal was ridiculously delicious. I couldn't get enough of the gyro, it was by far one of the greatest meals I've ever had. The baklava was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. So If you are ever in the area, stop by and order the gyro, you will not regret it. You'll find it immediately after getting off the freeway at 1804 E. Southern Ave., Suite 1 Tempe, AZ 85282 Corner of Mclintock+Southern.
What I noticed most about this restaurant was the service. Everyone I came encounter with was very polite and made me feel welcome there. Having friendly servers made the experience that much more enjoyable and was the cherry on top of the whole evening. If I wasn't already coming back for the food, I definitely would for the great service.
