I never actually got to see the dentist at Park View Pediatric Dentistry as the unqualified Hygienist was my main point of contact. The Hygienist didnâ??t finish cleaning my 4 year old sonâ??s teeth before she stopped the exam stating that his teeth were rotted out, she was shaking her head in disgustâ?¦â??do you see the black spots?!â?? Also, she informed me that this would cost me thousands of dollars to repairâ?¦I was beside myself! The hygienist escorted my son and I out while stating that my insurance, Amerigroupâ??s In-Network Dentists were not ""as nice"" as they (PVP) were. The Hygienist continued on that the In-Network Dentist would not be child sensitive, would not give anesthesia (omg! I was so scared for my child) which is not covered by Amerigroup This was in fact NOT the case, as I was later informed by a qualified Pediatric Dentist at Smile Central (who excepts my insurance). My Sonâ??s teeth are not rotted out, he has 6 cavities (by far not the worst the Dentist has seen and I shouldnâ??t be so upset or worried) which can all be filled one at a time WITH anesthesia. AMAZING! In summary, I would not recommend Park View Pediatric Dentistry due to unqualified staff, un-professionalism, poor patient communication skills and what I feel is a self serving (picking and choosing patients) business plan.
