Review content:
Last December we were very excited about our new Standard Pacific Home in Lantana and the sales person was great. Unfortunately, our home had some issues on the final walkthrough, but we were told they'd have everything taken care of. We trusted them so we closed... HUGE MISTAKE! Our home wasn't even cleaned. Four months later, we're still dealing with issues that would have been fixed in days if a closing were on the line. Example... Our outdoor grill didn't work. They've been saying it will be fixed/replaced in ""a couple of weeks"" for four months. Now, they're saying they can't get the right grill, so they're replacing it with a different brand. I just got the new brand and model today. I looked it up online and the new grill they're installing on Friday? is smaller and $2,400 less than the grill I bought with the home. They never mentioned that! I only know because I've been hounding the customer service guy for three days to get me the model number. So, I've waited four months for a grill, I'm being ""downgraded"" and Standard Pacific is going to pocket $2,400. You lose all leverage once you close with a builder. We knew this and did it anyway. Please don't make our mistake. Once they have your money, you're just not that important any longer.
