There aren't many places in Bangor to get geared up for the outdoors, and there's no place like Epic Sports. Epic has almost everything you could ever want for whatever you do outdoors. Despite it's small appearance from the outside, Epic has two floors of gear, including a good selection of kayaks and canoes. You can get the gear anywhere go to Epic for the most friendly and knowledgable staff around! I have only ever heard two complaints about Epic. First, that they are over priced. This is just wrong, everything they have is quality name brand product and Epic prices it all at suggested retail or lower. Second, that the staff ignores customers. Unfortunately, this does happen from time to time. Epic is locally owned so the staff is often short handed. But everytime I've asked for help I've gotten it, and never felt guilty about it.
