you've obviously never had HughesNET have you? they are a conglomerate and have the worst support and service you can possibly imagine. i am planning to switch to Banyan in a short time as my HNS is $79/mo for their aweful service. they have 375mb/24hr limit, if u exceed it, u are slowed to 14.4k dialup speed for 24hrs. go ahead and switch to them just to see what REALLY bad internet service is like..
