It's a lovely place with lots of character, I love coming here when it isn't too crowded (which is rare, actually). Sunny, chilly afternoons on weekdays are the best. Their hot chocolate - I wouldn't call it ""European style"" as others put it, because the European-style (French, Dutch, etc.) hot chocolates are different in taste and texture. Burdick's chocolate is unique, and it's the best chocolate place in Boston for sure. The leaf cookie w/ hot chocolate is amazing. The servers are rude but I don't pay that much attention, so it's OK. Highly recommended...
