When making a decision to hire a contractor is based on a review/report. Here is just a few ways to determine the truth in a negative report:
If the author claims the business has done considerable bad work or business dealings.
Why has local building authorities not picked up complaint.
Why Pictures of Bad work have not been Posted.
Why anonymous.
Why haven't Court or state registration boards been contacted.
Please let us face reality, when someone has a legitimate problem it is usually in court. Especially when the problems are large and not small. Most consumers would not except a good reference from a anonymous source, so do not rely to much on bad reports from anonymous sources. What should happen, give business a chance to answer any questions you may have using report to spark dialog.
