I called and ordered a simple 12"" round cake over the phone. Specifically asked if it would better if I went down and ordered in person. I was told ""No that is not necessary, we have done plenty of Baby Shower Cakes"" All I asked for was Pastel Baby Blue Booties with some simple Pastel Blue Flowers and Congratulations. Let me just say, their idea of ""Pastel Baby Blue"" is ""Smurf Blue"" Congratulations was Barely Legible and the decorations were Hideous, the flowers were Smurf Blue Large Daisy's with Bright Yellow Center! All of this for $42.00. (Being from Haverhill I thought it would be more convenient to support a local business and less of a drive from going to the shop I usually go to in Nashua NH. Boy was that a mistake.) I mentioned when I picked up the cake it was not what I expected and was not Baby Blue. My Sister arrived at my house so we could leave for the Baby Shower and she took one look at the cake and was immediately shocked. With no time to get a replacement cake, we didn't have time to go to the supermarket. (Which the supermarket would've tasted and looked 100 times better.) My sister called the shop, the lady told my sister next time to make her own FU@*IN& CAKE! and that I did not specify colors and that I should have went down in person... Hmmm as mentioned above I would've gladly went to the shop to order the cake and I did specify the color as Pastel Blue for a boy. I then called to make sure she knew I was aware of the call and to clarify I did request Pastel Blue and this cake is uncorrectable with lack of time. She said to bring her back her FU@*IN& CAKE and she will give me back my money... If I had the time I would've happily returned the cake. The cake was the laughing joke at the Baby Shower. I would've gotten a more tastier and professional looking cake from BJ's with no embarrassment. I wish I could upload a photo. So needless to say this shop lost more than just my business. Please save your money and go to the local grocery store. Cons: Poorly decorated cake and taste... If you choose to complain expect to get swore at!
