Review content:
Take the time to visit Emily's Bakery. You'll find really excellent bakery items, a good cup of coffee and some nice people behind the counter and probably sitting right next to you at the counter. It's something you don't see much of these days. And it's a real bakery where things are made from REAL ingredients-not frozen blobs that came in a box for some ""baker"" to put in the oven. We sat and could see and hear the people in the back making stuff from scratch. It was such a nice break from the crazy of December to sit and watch someone else work! The pies we got over the holidays were fantastic and the cakes I saw go out of there were beautiful. The smurf lady from a couple of years ago must have had a really bad day when she ordered her cake because we saw nothing but great stuff there. In response to the person who said the cases weren't very full, maybe it's because people go in there AND BUY THINGS! Well, that's more than enough of my two cents. I hope you can get a moment or two to visit Emily's Bakery in Haverhill. It will be worth the trip!!
