I've been shopping at J. B. Hudson's for years.
The Ridgedale store reminds me of the beautiful jewelry stores of yesterday, with its wood paneling and the excellent details of its carpets, but it has jaw-dropping modern displays of high-end watches, including my personal weakness, Cartier...I love watches designed as jewelry. So much prettier than those designed for engineers, though they have those too, if that's your thing.
And if you're going to go and lust after the watches, talk to Kathleen. She knows everything about all of them. The repair department has been wonderful about all my picky requests, including fixing a vintage LeCoultre watch that belonged to my grandmother.
I love the Marco Bicego gold jewelry, too. And since they will buy all the stuff in my jewelry box that I haven't worn in ages, I can't wait to go back and update my jewelry wardrobe.
