The owner, Vasiliki, and her husband have been in the restaurant business for years. She grows kalamata olives on her own plantataion in Messinia, Greece. Everything here tastes very good (and a lot of my friends agree). I would specially mention the following: grilled salmon done with Greek herbs and served with vegetables (the best salmon I've had in the Bay Area), portobello-mushroom sandwich on foccacia, swordfish souvlaki (not easy to find here), fasoulada (soup with the big fava beans), Greek herbed fries with the best olive dip, and dessert (which she makes herself daily) including ravani, Greek cookies, ...\r \r A good place for vegetarians too. Might be serving halal meat (don't know for sure).\r \r Busiest at lunchtime during the week - get there by 11:45 or go after 1:00. Pros: Authentic Greek food, good prices Cons: Parking on Fridays
