Sew E-Z is the BEST KEPT SECRET in VA among quilters/sew-ers/machine embroider-ers! It is THE PLACE to BE if you like fabrics, embroidering, quilting, sewing, classes, excellent customer service, and talented and knowledgeable teachers and staff. Its the most FUN place to be....whatever sewing-related hobby or hobbies you enjoy. Freida Doubts, owner, is so friendly and helpfull and accomodating to all of her customers....whether its your first visit there....or if its your 'home away from home'. She and her staff know how to make you feel right at home. The teachers giving the wide array of classes are some of the most talented folks you'll ever meet. The wonderful selection of classes is awesome. There are many items on display showing what you can make in each class.....from quilted jackets, to home decor items, totes and purses, beautiful quilts, embroidered t-shirts, gorgeous lace bowls and tree ornaments, placemats, dresser scarves, tablecloths, wallhangings, and the list goes on and on! The large shelves full of beautiful fabric is enough to inspire your creativity. The prices are very competitive, and the quality is excellent. This shop is a MUST SEE....put it at the TOP of your 'To Do' list! Make it your New Years' Resolution to treat yourself to some 'fun'.....go in and browse, get inspired, sign up for a class, demo a new machine (of which there are many to choose from - and Freida and her staff will be happy to match a machine to whatever suits you best!). Come on in and check it out.....you may soon find it is YOUR 'home away from home' too!!!! \r Now you've heard the pros....as for cons....just NOT ENOUGH TIME to do everything you want to do!!! \r On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the BEST....I would have to rate this shop with at least a 15!!!\r Pros: BEST of the BEST - be sure to check it out! Cons: No 'overnite' accomodations - YET! Could stay for days to browse & sew!
