Review content:
This is a great school. Why?\r -hands-on learning as much as possible, field trips, academic work applied to real world issues.\r -small, personalized, teachers and director know all the students well and help them in all ways\r -international trip every year in the winter with language immersion\r -it's a place for teens to be themselves, less peer pressure to conform \r -no time wasted teaching to the WASL\r If the public school just isn't working for a teen, check it out. Pros: integrated curriculum, international travel, small and personalized, strong teachers. Cons: no organized sports, although they are outside a lot, hiking and other activities, and go to the YMCA twice a week for exercise.
