I went to Paxman based on a recommendation from another mechanic who admitted they couldn't fix my car. They told me exactly where the problem was and said they would be willing to pass along the info to Paxman. When I got to Paxman's they insisted they had to locate the problem for themselves. I was annoyed but didn't argue. After an hour and a half they told me I needed a new fuse box. I knew that already. They did offer to get the part from a salvage yard to save me money. Would have been very kind if they had actually checked to make sure it was the right part for my car. After they had kept it all day they told me, Oops we goofed. Couldn't fix your car. When I went to pick it up they charged an outrageous amount for nothing. I paid it because I just wanted away from them. Sadly, when I got home I noticed that they had knocked my headlight out. Really?! They were working on the opposite side of the car. If you like your car and your cash, stay away from these guys!
