I have lived in Raleigh for 10 years and recently decided to look for a tailor I could trust my wedding gown alterations with. Previously I had gone to other places for a hem here or a button hole there; but I needed someone who could take the size 10 dress I found on super sale, down to a size 6 (with special attention given to the intricate beading on the dress). After several recommendations, I found Tracy at Duke's Tailors. I have been so happy with the service there! I have also had several pairs of pants altered with fabulous results. (Ladies, they'll keep that fancy stonewashed hem on those expensive jeans and you can't even tell they've been altered!!!!) If you want a friendly place where they know your name and they remember how you prefer your clothes to be tailored, I recommend Duke's over any chain in the mall.
