Review content:
My husband took my 4 year old daughter there to get a cut and blow dry. We have been coming here for 2 years. A girls haircut is advertised for $15. Since they blow dry her hair straight we always paid extra but never more than $25 which was acceptable. This last time Sylvia, who I believe is the owner, charged us $45!
Sure the cut was nice and it was straight but.......I did not appreciated being charged such an fee for extra services that we did not ask for. They have never washed her hair before just wet with a spray bottle. My husband even told them it was washed. But she insisted and washed it anyway. He asked for her hair to be blow dryed straight. He didn't say to use a flat iron and make it pin straight. But we were charged more because she used a flat iron (we learn this after the fact). It just felt like they where doing everything to justify jacking up the price. When I called to complain I didn't get anywhere. Actually, Sylvia ended the conversation by saying thank you and hanging up on me. I hope they put the extra money they charged us to good use because its the last time I patronize this business. They are just not consistent with their pricing. Just be aware and ask if there are any extra charges because that $15 children's haircut may end up costing you a lot more than you think.
