The minute I walked through the door, I felt right at home. The staff was polite and welcoming, the decor was warm and beautiful, and the music was soft and relaxing. We were promptly seated at a corner table, more of a booth, but to call it merely a booth would serve it no justice. Comfortable, with ample room, colorful pillows, and a great view of the restaurant. I started out with a delicious seasonal pumpkin soup, thick and hearty. Then I moved on to the horseradish crusted shrimp, while my wife enjoyed the fresh and dried fruit salad with candied walnuts and fresh field greens. The main course for my wife was the tilapia topped with jumbo lump crabmeat and buerre blanc sauce, on top of fresh crisp vegetables and risotto. I had a center cut filet cooked to medium rare perfection, with mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach. Everything was excellently prepared. Even though neither my wife nor I had much room for dessert, we could not resist. My wife decided on the vanilla cheesecake with strawberry puree, and I had the apple pie a la mode, which had been baked earlier that day. We didn't have a problem finding room for these delicious treats. Throughout most of this amazing meal, a piano player appeared and played a great mix of broadway, soft rock and more. Overall, the atmosphere was inviting, the service superb - prompt, polite, and professional, and the food was spectacular. Don't miss this hidden gem!
