Review content:
Recently, I purchased four directional tires from a Firestone store located on 250 W Blackstock Rd Spartanburg, SC. These tires were sold to me by a Mr. David Segarra (store manager). It was brought to my attention by soldiers of the 323 En Co (motor pool) that these tires were mounted in the wrong direction. I quickly drove to Firestone to get an explanation. They were apologetic and informed me that the tires were in fact mounted wrong by an employee that recently was terminated. They offered to remount the tires and stated they would give me a free oil change. I told them I did not need an oil change. They asked if there was anything else they could do. I told them to please just fix the problem. When I got home I realized that not one but two lug nuts were missing. The next day I drove back to Spartanburg and spoke with customer service. They told me that when I came in the lug nuts were already missing. I asked why I was not notified and they could not explain. Once again I told them I was in need of resolution. They offered to replace the missing lugs; however they had to special order them. I went in for one problem and left with two. I would not recommend allowing these incompetent so called professionals to work on my enemies’ vehicle. The manger was rude, the techs were less than professional, and even though the tires are now mounted in the correct direction and each tire has all the lugs, I don’t feel that these folks are paying enough attention to safety. Before you put your life in danger, I suggest looking somewhere else for ALL your vehicular needs. I am posting this because the manger told me I better not push these issues. I asked him what that was supposed to mean and he called 911. I left the store unsatisfied to say the least...
Pros: better service is offered nearby
Cons: dangerous disregard toward safety and a lack of integrity
