Review content:
I went with this storage unit because I initially talked to the assistant manager, Mitch. Wow. What a nice guy! He was kind, courteous, funny, personable - he made me feel good about coming to this business. The storage units are fine, priced about average for the area. And they have a free 15ft. moving truck you can borrow when you need it, for free. Sounds great, right?\r \r But then I had to deal with Ed. He's apparently the manager, and he may be good with numbers, but he is horrible with people. Every encounter I had with him was negative. He never stopped to listen to my question, on any issue; he just interrupted abruptly to tell my why I was wrong. This was the case both on the phone and in person.\r \r Oh, and the truck? It needs to be put out of its misery. It died in the middle of our move, in the middle of a busy intersection, Have you ever pushed a completely loaded moving truck around a corner in 100 degree weather, to the tune of angry, honking motorists? So much for that benefit.\r \r It seems silly to downrate a company because of one person, but when that one person is so consistently toxic, rude, and incompetent, it can really drag a business down. Mitch: you're a great guy. Save your business. Either get Ed some civility training or run like the wind and start your own place. Pros: One staff member is truly great. Units work well. Free truck for short trips, like 2 blocks. Cons: Main manager is rude, unhelpful, unable to multitask, and generally makes business hard to recommend.
