I never had put my dog in a kennel before, I was so concerned he would think I abandoned him, or that he would be terrified, he had never been caged, he had never ever been left anywhere. He was always with me by my side. The kennel is located close to the freeway the driveway is on the frontage road along the freeway,Your frist time there you wonder if its the right road, its a dirt road, very rural, when I pulled up the driveway I was a little concerned its not what you would picture as a boarding kennel its private property ranches no business setting, your pulling into a semi paved road ,no frills, its not landscaped, no big signs, theirs a cement building to your left and your there. Okay now hear is what you want to know. The staff was great they handle business well , their very friendly, you can tell they like animals ,and they want you and your pet to be comfortable. The kennels were clean, they have a toddler room, its all decorated like a kids room thats for the little dogs, each dog gets a bed with bedding pillows and stuffed animals, the larger dogs get a bed too with quilted bedding, The the play yards are big too. What i thought was nice was the animals don't stay in their kennel all day, unless thats the instructions you leave. They only eat and sleep in the kennel, the rest of the time there getting to play. The staff interacts with your pet throughout the day,so their getting one on one attention. There not being ignored. The second time I brought my dog, I couldn't believe how happy he was to be there, it was if he knew what the routine was there and couldn't wait to start his stay. that was the best feeling.... I recommend taking your pet to Vineyard kennels, they really seem to like it. You as a pet owner have nothing to worry about when it comes to this kennel taking good care of your pet. If your visiting Paso Robles for wine tasting , you can rest at ease and enjoy your wine tasting experience. Pros: The dogs really seem to enjoy their stay, thats so important
