Randalls on Gattis School Rd in Round Rock, TX fired an employee (Troy Schafer) for assisting a woman whose purse had been snatched in the store. He was fired citing company policy against an employees pursuing a suspect in this type of crime. By ALL means, let's send a message to criminals of ALL types that Randalls does not allow the assistance of customers. Pr*cks. The reprimand should have been taken care of on a case by case basis. This young man assisted the police in catching this 15 year old punk. Punk boy is now in juvenile hall in Williamson County. He needs to stay there because he will be a drain on society if not. Instead of rewarding for heroism, Randalls showed Troy Schafer the door. Maybe Mr.. Schafer should not have pursued ""punk *ss boy"" for his own safety. By the same token, Randalls should have written him up for an infraction NOT fired him. I have been a faithful Randalls shopper for over 20 years. As of yesterday, I will no longer give them one more penny of my money. I'd just as soon STARVE then to shop at Randalls ever again. They are idiots and a-holes. It would be nice if this incident inspired others to boycott and, eventually, affect Randalls business but I know it won't. However, they lost one customer. Me. S U C K it Randalls. As a footnote, the woman whose purse was stolen is also boycotting Randalls. Good for her!!!
