Review content:
It is always a pleasure to stop by Teca for a lovely meal of salads, sandwiches (panini) and various bruschette. The bruschette are generous slices of fine, toasted bread with intriguing topics (I always have to order the robust ?Siciliana?), the salads are fresh, with the best mozzarella you can find locally, and the panini hold interesting and well-cooked ingredients, even though the restaurant should consider switching to a better quality focaccia than the anemic bread presently used. You can sit outside and watch people go by or in the comfortable and well-designed rooms of the restaurant. The service is friendly, efficient, and aims to please. A well-selected wine and beer list means you can always find the proper accompaniment to your food here.\r
The only thing I strongly dislike at Teca is the fact that they are not printing the prices of the various beers on their beer list. This is a rather sleazy practice all-to-common in these days of restaurant ?advisors? who ?teach? restaurants every psychological ploy to separate the customer from her/his money (never use a yes/no question, etc.). Now I don?t have any problem spending $9 on a DuPont Saison beer on draft (what a treat!) but I do dislike that patrons have to make an effort to find out that the beers they will order will range from four to ten dollars. If you have an informative beer list, like Teca?s, please also print the price of the beers.\r
Pros: A comfortable place to enjoy a great variety of tasty treats (bruschette, salads, panini; excellent wine-beer list
Cons: Beer list does not indicate any prices (with beers ranging from 4 to over 10 dollars)
