Review content:
I dont look at Hard Rock as a choice destination unless Im going to be in the are anyway. Usually I only go there if Im early for a show at the Universal Amphitheater, or I feel like waiting out the crowd after a concert. It can be fun to sit at the bar as the 56 Chevy rotates overheard, and to gaze at all the memorabilia on the walls. The service is usually good at both the bar and the tables. Sometimes on a nice summer night it can be fun to sit outside, have a nice meal, watch the jumbotron and the people. The food is good, but not that special. Though I have to say, I had the best split pea soup of my life at Hard Rock. Who knew?
Pros: rock and roll decor, beeper while u wait, strong drinks
Cons: gets REALLY busy
