A wonderful place. Despite an unassuming external appearance, this place is cozy and comfortable. The service is friendly and caring...the chef will come out midway through the meal to discuss the dishes and solicit comments. The waitperson is totally familiar with the offerings and will guide (but not push) your selections. The food is exceptional, totally on a par with top Manhattan Indian restaurants...try the flaming lamb chops, the chicken vindaloo and tikka masala... It is not inexpensive but good value for an authentic meal that transports you into an Indian home...
