As I walked in for my appointment- the owner was standing over her sink dying and washing her own hair. She was going on and on ""oh, I never have time to do my own hair... I have a hot date tonight..."" uhm... ok. But could she have done it on her own time, not mine? Fine, whatever, I get over it. She offers me some champagne. Sure, why not? THEN SHE POURS HERSELF A GLASS. She sits me down for my wash, and she spends but a minute washing my hair. And slaps some cream on my head for her advertised ""conditioning treatment service"" Oh, before I forget: The entire time she was drinking while gossiping and bitching about difficult clients, her ex and soccer moms at her kids' school. She gives me a half-assed consultation. I show her a large printed picture of MYSELF after my last haircut (straight, shoulder length). And ask for it to be a little shorter in the back for a slight asymmetrical cut. She put my head down to start trimming and when I looked up- It was all gone!! SHE CUT IT ALL OFF! At first, I was trying not to freak out since it was too late. Damage had already been done. She was talking me up, saying how great it looks. Because of her total lack of professionalism and very expressed ""everyone who doesn't like me can f**k off"" personality, I felt completely uncomfortable expressing how I really felt. So I walked away feeling fine about my hair. It was a technically great haircut..for someone else. It wasn't at all what I wanted or asked for.
