I would not recommend renting at The Apartments at American Tobacco to anyone. What we thought was going to be a fun experience turned into one problem after another. We lived there for a year and still had roof leaks the day we moved out. Other tenants had the same experiences with mold in their units, plumbing problems, and HVAC systems breaking not once, not twice, but numerous times. Several units experienced multiple roof leaks that could not be repaired.
We paid a very high rent only to be treated poorly by the management company and to live in what is essentially on dump. Don't let the surface fool you. These places are riddled with problems.
